Freelance Graphic Designer
I have over 20 years experience as a in-house and freelance graphic designer and I have worked extensively in the exhibition, event, marketing and print sectors for some of the world’s most recognisable brands. My creativity has helped businesses large and small achieve their sales and marketing goals.
In 2002, I formed twohundredby200 a small multi-disciplinary studio with a reputation for creating work that excites, inspires and most importantly meets the needs of our clients.
I am available to provide my skills as a freelance graphic designer to design studios, marketing & advertising agencies, public relations firms and to the print industry.
Notable clients have included Balfour Beatty, BAE Systems, Raytheon, Rolls Royce, The Home Office, The Scottish Government, The Royal Navy, The Royal Air Force, Babcock Thorn, Virgin Trains, The RBS Group, RSPB, RHASS, National Museums of Scotland, The Natural History Museum, The Imperial War Museum.
Depending on the nature of the project, I can work on-site, in-house or independently from my home studio. I am also happy to undertake small privately commissioned projects.
Creative Director / Design Consultant
For 16 years I was the creative director of twohundredby200 and in that role I project managed many successful creative projects from initial concepts through to final delivery and deployment. Projects spanned across print, digital and the exhibition/event sectors.
In my role as creative director, I bring a focus on brand storytelling, audience engagement, intelligent design and business development to every project.
When working on a project, I actively encourage a strong and close working realtionship between each of my creative team members as I feel that collaboration along with the combination their collective imagination, ideas and focus often lead to outstanding results for the client and their audience.
I am available to provide my skills as a freelance creative director to creatively lead projects across many mediums and platforms. In addition to my skills as a creative director, I also can act as a professional design consultant to assess and evaluate new or on-going creative-led projects and provide advice and support to those involved.
In my marketing consultant role, I can quickly raise awareness on companies, events, products and services.
Digital marketing forms the core of what I provide and I firmly believe that effective digital marketing is about connecting with your audience at right time and place.
I am capable of providing a wide array of consultancy services including brand development and management, web development, SEO & SEM, social media advertising and campaign planning (Facebook, Instagram and Google Ads) alongside video advertising (YouTube and Vimeo). Additionally I can provide copywriting, public relations and crisis management.
